Classroom buildings in North Florida: what to know

A classroom building in steel is usually a long rectangle with rooms on one or both sides of a hallway, or rooms opening onto a covered walkway outside. Width follows the room depth plus the corridor; length follows the number of rooms. Frames are spaced so interior walls and windows line up with the steel. Plan restrooms, a teachers' workroom and storage inside the same building so students are not crossing campus for basic needs.
